Vending Machines usage has been increased across the world with newer products added for vending. Initially vending machines were popular in factories for easy assessment of refreshments. Later on, they made their way to offices and outlets with heavy crowds.

Vending machines have been useful to both the owner and end user as it is a self help concept. The customer can have access to product 24 hrs 365 days as long as the machine works. The owner needs to stack the machine with products and it takes care of the rest. Vending machines have become universal in places like cinema halls, schools, hospitals, colleges, malls, airports etc.

Beverages business has drastically increased with machines giving a choice as much as up to ten varieties for selection. Not only drinks many other products like junk foods, health foods, electronic items such as ipods, digital camera’s and mp3 players are also available with vending machines. With increasing popularity no longer are the vending machines limited for food or drink items but are now available with customized products based on the places they are installed.

However there is also a raising alarm about the use of vending machines in schools offering different junk foods which is becoming a health hazard to children. On contrary schools can take care that vending machines come with nutritious items like fruit juices, nuts and milk for consumption.
